The Productive Habits and Daily Goals Tracker App Review

One of the biggest secrets behind successful individuals is not their age, their upbringing, their networks or even their wealth. It’s their habits that made them successful and to achieve what they now have. If you were to observe the routines of successful individuals, you’ll clearly see that they practice some sort of habit.

Whether they’re an athlete, boxer or even a multi millionaire, you’ll see that they practice a certain habit day in, day out. It’s these small habits and actions that add up over time that makes them successful.

I first came across this concept of habits from Brian Tracy many years ago. I only understood it at an intellectual level but I never really applied it. Then I came across Darren Hardy’s book “The Compound Effect” talks about how habits affect people’s lives overtime. He also provides you a system in which you track your habits called the “Weekly Rhythm Register” which I’ve been applying for the past several years with great success!

Just recently, I came across a very powerful app that combines the concept of habits and tracking them into an easy to use app. It’s called “Productive : Habits and Daily Goals Tracker”.

Here are some of the great features / benefits I’ve discovered from this app. 

Easy to Use

One thing I’ve found with this app is that it’s so easy to use. You can easily add in your habits and schedule them in. The interface is very intuitive and you can get to any feature in one step. If you want to check off a habit, you simply swipe right. If you want to skip a habit, you swipe left. It’s a bit like Tinder, except the basic b*tches.

Simple Tracking & Metrics

Last year I read a book called “Strengths Finder 2.0” which helps you identify your top key strengths. One of my strengths if focus. In order for me to continually use my strength of focus, I need some sort of metric in order to achieve my goals. One of the most powerful features in this app is that it displays your progress in an easy to read form. It displays a calendar and you can easily see how often you’ve accomplished your habit and how many you have to go.


One key element in this app that is truly effective is that it motivates you to keep up your positive habits. You can’t read a book on habits and it will change your life. You have to keep practicing it over and over again to see results. Therefore I really like the way the app encourages you to keep checking your positive habits off the list by showing you how many habits you have left.

It’s like playing a video game. You need to collect a certain amount of items to reach another level. Same goes with this app, once you’ve accomplished all your habits for the week, you’re rewarded nothing… but self satisfaction 🙂
