5 Reasons Why Blogging Is The Best Online Business Ever

I love blogging. I’ve been blogging for several years now and it’s by far the best online business you can ever start. I’ve seen many different types of businesses come and go. Most of the “opportunities” that’s out there now, may provide you some potential lump sum of cash but ultimately you’ll lose it fast as well.

Opportunities online are simply the hare where you may get some fast results quickly but you can also lose it quickly too. I have a friend who’s always jumping from one business opportunity to the next and he’s always getting by. He’s chasing up my friends on my Facebook and always pitching me his latest business opportunity.

I’ve tried many different types of businesses online but the one I’m truly fond of is blogging. Although these days, most people tune off when it comes to blogging because it’s been around for a while, there’s still a huge opportunity to succeed in this business.

I’ve literally made thousands of dollars from blogging alone and I’ll continue doing this till the day I die. It does help that I love writing and enjoy crafting words together, but I truly believe that anyone can start a blog and begin practicing the art of writing.

Below are some of my favourite reasons why blogging is the best online business ever.

Work once, get paid forever.

The thing i love about blogging is that it’s a system that enables you to work once and get paid forever. When I first wrote my book several years ago, I didn’t know what I was doing and chose any publisher to get it in book stores. Today I’m still getting cheques in the mail through book royalties.

The same applies to blogging. If you write a fantastic article, it stays online for years and if you’ve set it up where you can monetise it, then you earn income from that blog post for many years to come.

Express yourself.

The author of the book “5 Regrets of the Dying” by Bronnie Ware wrote a book detailing her life as a nurse in plaintive care. She interviewed many people who were sick and dying and she asked them all the simple question, looking back over your life, what would your regret be? She discovered that one of the top 5 regrets of the dying was that they wish they had the courage to express how they truly felt.

This was an amazing revelation for how many times have you held back and wished you said something to that someone? When you have a blog, you build this muscle of self expression and become more comfortable expressing your ideas and opinions.

Connect with likeminded people.

One of the best things about blogging is that you share what you love to the world. Over time, you seem to attract likeminded people into your life and this makes a world of a difference. Imagine doing what you love, writing about what you love and then people who love what you do stick around and become your friend. That’s how powerful blogging is.

Build confidence.

There’s something about blogging that makes you feel more confident. It could be the expression of your ideas and being used to taking on haters but for some strange reason, we build confidence when we blog. By writing your ideas and opinions, you build the tenacity and strength in your convictions.

Passive income.

Finally, one of the most sexy things about blogging is that it can build passive income. You could be travelling the world, having a great time, no boss and earning income from your blog. Of course this takes time but if you do it correctly, you could quit your day job and travel the world while your blog supports your basic necessities.

Conclusion

Blogging is here to stay. Despite what everyone thinks, blogging is still a great opportunity for people to start their business. Most people would give up blogging after a few months and there lies the opportunity. Lack of consistency and foresight. It’s easy to start a blog, simply buy a domain name, hook it up to your hosting and install wordpress. You’re done.

Blogging has changed my life and it can change yours too.
